Calstar Sponsored 6-day Red Rooster III (Sep 23-29, 2016)

We had a very successful 6-day trip on the Red Rooster 3, sponsored by Calstar rods. Additional support was provided by Accurate Reels, Izorline, Baja Fish Gear, Salas Lures, and Sportsman Seafood fish processing. Captain Andy Cates took us all the way to “The Ridge” where we caught 99 Wahoo, limits of yellowfin tuna, yellowtail and dorado. Thank you to Andy and his deck crew (Tom, Fernando, Justin and Chefy) for doing a fantastic job that enabled us to land so many fish. Thank you to RJ and Madison for keeping us well fed with restaurant quality meals and snacks. And a special thanks to all the passengers for getting along so well, having lot of fun conversations and making new friends while catching fish. I will try to tell the trip report through the photos from the trip below. The plan is to do this trip again next year.
